its so simple but yet complicated.
2 + 1 = 3
2&3(consecutive number) = 23.
and when my class is superduper quiet & refuses to ans qns, tcher choose index number to force us to ans.

and i realise i always get index numbers that are lovely.(of course, everybody would say that, like 1. 2 & 3. nice numbers they are.)
p1 = 5. p2 = 5. p3=8.(i think) p4=10(i think). p5=8 p6=8. SEC1=23!
but definitely, i don't remember my PSLE index number.
Who the hell remembers that? its an EPIC nightmare.

okay anyway, i planned to talk about something else. NOT INDEX NUMBERS.
okay, the 1st thing i wanna talk about is.
MY RESULTS.
Great God.
im dead. EOY is terrible.
i cant believe my bro can get A1 for every subject in sec1. THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
and he's in HCI, his sch can like exempt students with great results from EOYs.
that means for example, if i get really great results, like all A1s, i can don't take the EOYs. i think my bro took only like 1 subject during EOYs. in sec1.
he tihnks its a good thing. he can concentrate more on that subject.
TOO BAD RV DOESN'T PRACTICE THAT. BooHoo.
(i wonder if its still practised now? Zhiyong, is it?)
okay anyway.
I'm TERRIBLY afraid that my GPA will drop.
LIKE drop ALOT.
GPA. Grade Point Average. America uses it.
And RV, a government CHINESE sch, uses this.
other chinese, watever, SAP, schs uses MSG.
im sure u know whats MSG, not wei4 jing1, but Mean Subject Grade.
ask ur nanyang girls' high frens or HCI frens. they shd know.
GPA is quite complicated.
you take the number that represents the grade.
A1 = 4
A2 = 3.5
B3 = 3
B4 = 2.5
C5 = 2
C6 = 1.5
D7 = 1
E8 = 0.5
F9 = 0
you cant possibly get an F9 for a subject. unless you have amnesia and you don't remember ANYTHING that ur tcher teaches you or your brain just contains spiders and cobwebs.
so for example, if get A1 for all subjects. you add up the number that represents the grade, which is 4.
ok, so u take 6 subjects. so it'll be 4+4+4+4+4+4 = 4x6
which equals to 24.
and you divide it by the number of subjects you take. which 24/6
and you get 4. so the highest you can get is 4.
ok if you don't get it, another MORE complicated example,
let's say you get one C5, two B3s, two A2s & one A1.
so you add up the number that represents the grade.
2(C5) + 3(B3) + 3(B3) + 3.5(A2) + 3.5(A2) + 4(A1) = 19.
you divide it by the number of subjects you take. 19/6
so u get 3 and one-third.
so i tihnk our sch rounds it up or down accordingly. most probably to 1 decimal point.
3 and one-third. 3.1666666... so on.
so round it up. around 3.2.
which i think its just ok.
not VERY GOOD or VERY BAD.
3.5 & above is i think good.
3.7 or 3.8 & above is exceptionally good. all these are my opinions. if you say these are extremely high expectations, then too bad, ITS MY OPINIONS, im a perfectionist.

ok im just really REALLY surprised that i got high high marks for paper 2, and i really thot i screwed it! just don't deduct marks for my poor presentation!
tcher said she was very disappointed in our marks. not consistent at all.
she said jialing almost failed the 1st paper but got almost full marks for the 2nd paper. haha.
total paper 1 & 2 = 81/100
