Murray Krismurs everyone.

I'm currently at work now (I'm working at Supermama stores [mainly at SAM museum store] if you don't already know) and I'm shamelessly using the MacBook Air here to write a post instead of tending to and engaging with customers.

So hey guys.

If you think it's really sad and pathetic to be working on Christmas... well not really. Maybe I felt a little grumpy when I had to wake up in the morning and travel for work, but other than that, work is rather enjoyable. At least I'm spending my time productively. I mean, working with cashiers and sliding/inserting the credit cards into the machine. How cool is that?! It's like a childhood dream come true! (not really)

Today's traffic is surprisingly ... well. Quite a number of people have come to the store. Well, at least more than I thought. I mean it's Christmas, go spend this festive season with your loved ones! (okay actually they come to the museum with their families and friends, so I guess it isn't that bad.) There are many tourists too though, why wouldn't they wanna spend Christmas back home? Perhaps the desire for a new experience? Not wanting to spend a white Christmas, but rather, a sunny Christmas? (Australia has it though)

I wish so much for a white Christmas though. Prancing and tasting snow. Holding a mug of hot chocolate and prodding the burning firewood. Putting on a wool sweater, and snuggling up as the warm rays of light from the fireplace dance around you.

Have a merry little Christmas, everyone.

Christmas Eve

many things happened, and I'm lazy.

I feel sorry for neglecting (since I'm more free now and should be blogging more), and my guilt is necessitating a post.

Writing a post so early cuz yo sista feelz lyk it y'noe I'm waiting for OITNB to upload onto my phone.

its Christmas Eve, and I'm working. (pfft my official first day of work was the eve of Christmas Eve, today is only my second day!)

Yes I signed up for a job, lazy Choo is now not lazy.

I haven't done any cashier counter work though (because I don't dare too, the cash register is so intimidating, plus all the complicated stuff before the shop opens), only talked to a few customers. Gah I"M TOO SHY I CAN'T TALK TO CUSTOMERS. please i don't even dare to greet customers when they come in LOLWTF

I'm already so tired though, I can't imagine living my entire life like this. (wtf Choo its only your second day)

So SOT had this graduation bash thing, and I dragged Huixin along to prevent all forms of awkwardness I might encounter if I had went alone. (In the end, I was 1/2 hour late and Huixin coerced me to buy a drink for her to make up for it)

Besides, there was free food.

The point of the bash was to let us SOT fresh graduates have a chance to interact with people from firms and orgs/senior graduates to talk about... well, stuff. I mean, according to what they said, probably opportunities for us to participate in volunteering and internship programmes and stuff. They gave us this pamphlet which had these points to probably get a conversation going, which was nice.

Sadly though, I didn't really interact with the other ppl much, except for Zhiying, who was quite friendly and approached us and talked to us and forced us politely invited us to talk to one of the SOT tutors in order for Huixin to learn more about SOT and what/how they teach (which I had disappointingly failed to supply a satisfactory explanation for).

hmm, I kinda missed out on the main point of the entire thing. I didn't get to talk to people, and I didn't really sign up for the civic trails that SOT organizes, which I'm pretty interested in. And Huixin needed to leave since her phone was running out of batt and she needed to contact her parents. Moreover, I was kinda conflicted too because I had wanted to meet Elleanor from Tokyo Fashion and her meet and greet was at 6pm while the grad bash started at 5pm. We left sort of in a hurry at about 7pm, which I'm a little sad and regretful for. :c Even when we reached Scape, where the meet and greet was supposed to be at, I couldn't find Elleanor. So basically, nothing much accomplished for today. :c

It was probably the last time I could ever be in that environment again, and the last time I could interact with such great people. I mean, I honestly learnt a lot from SOT, and I desired to at least maintain the relationship/some links I have with SOT. I didn't want my last time there to be so unfruitful, and curt, conclusive, and I left, just now, with a hint of regret and melancholy. This could be my last ever parting, and last ever SOT experience, and I couldn't even have made a step out of my comfort zone to make it a fruitful one. How disappointing; shame on you CHOO.

I guess you could say that I'm interested in fashion? But the meeting with Elleanor was important because I think it would be the first time that I would be able to see someone 'famous' up close and interact with a 'celebrity'. Haha she isn't really famous what more a celebrity, but since I had the chance of meeting her, why not? I guess the idea of seeing someone in real life/up close/in a physical, tangible form, whom I previously could only see on my handphone screen, was simply exciting for me. This (potential) joy and excitement probably fueled my desire to meet her in person.

But meh, one day wasted; nothing was achieved. I felt like I didn't learn anything from SOT, and I didn't have the chance to meet Elleanor. :( why oh why.

All hope is not lost though; I could meet Elleanor this Sunday at AFA, if I choose to lurk there long enough and be a voyeur and stalk her creepily go there and spot her if I can, although I have no reason to be at AFA since I didn't buy any tickets.

Today seemed like a poor, unproductive day. D: On a positive note though, at least I had the chance to catch up with Huixin.

And, well, the food was great.

I'm sorry, but there's a sudden barrage of prom posts on insta.

And I have a lot to say.

(channeling my inner kaypo-ness)

why do you have to curl your hair and make yourself look 20 years older?
why do you hate yourself so much you put on hideous clothes?

That's just the tip of the iceberg.

I know I'm not supposed to pass judgement since I'm not there, but

woah seriously.
/bitchy/

I'm sorry, but those photos are so so SO worthy of judgement.
(okay some of them not all)

#sorrynotsorry

edit. LOL MY MUM IS MORE DISAPPOINTED THAN I AM FOR NOT GOING PROM

Yeah I've changed my skin again because I crave change.
the beginning of the end

Yes I only exclusively write blog posts when it is nearing 3 am.

Yes I do realise the repercussions on my health when I continuously stay up late on consecutive nights.

Yes I've changed my blogskin to an older one, because I like skins created that precedes 2010 (I'm not saying that skins created after 2010 aren't pretty)

Yes it's a huge change in style that you'd have to get used to.

Yes this change signifies the end of my school life/A levels.

No it hasn't been as joyful as I had expected: I'm left with tons and piles of now-useless school materials that I don't know how to deal with, and my social life is more disjointed than ever (I have no friends).

Yes this means I'm going on more and longer dates with the laptop, engaging in activities many of which include playing games like Sims 4 (which I can finally with peace, since it was released way before A levels started), and YouTube, and watching dramas/serials.

Yes I'm currently listening to some sort of electronic/disco music, in a way keeping me alive/sane/awake in this hour.

Yes I'm still alive.

Yes it is now officially 3 am.

No electronic/disco music actually isn't a good idea, I'm hallucinating.

Yes I'm taking this chance in this 2 month break to properly re-connect with the blogskinning/art/design community.

Yes I have always been (and am) trying in vain to do so.

Yes I'm a failure in everything art and design and coding related.

Yes this also explains why I've transformed the appearance of my blog, to one that is considered the style of many blogskins in the heyday of blogskins.com

Yes I'm sentimental like that

No I haven't created a blogskin at all; even though I kind of have a grasp on HTML basics, I always doubt my own abilities.

Yes I still feel a sense of melancholy about the current state of blogskins.com

Yes I haven't been doing anything productive since the end of the As.

Yes I'm internally crying from all the sadness and loneliness

Yes I'm still wondering where I'm headed to.

Yes I wish I could flow with the wind.

No, the euphoria of conquering As has ended, I don't feel any better now. In fact, I think I'm worse off.

Yes, the end of As doesn't mean anything much at all; for

Yes;
It is the beginning of the end.

(and yes, I'm only writing like this because if I had written a short post, the videos in the preceding post would cut into the section on the right. And a little ironic how 2 posts ago how I had had this fuck-it attitude towards failing NAPFA, and if I were to be enlisting now (since I would be enlisting early probably now if I had failed), I would be so angry. )

I'M BACK
I wanna read more and I wanna spend my time more productively
Happy Black Friday shopping
I did many shopping.
