Escapism

This is escapism at its best!
Fuck everyone else who think otherwise.
Fuck those who think that gender stereotypes should be reinforced through lame school activities.
(well its not as if I am forward-looking for issues on gender (actually, I think I quite am) but whatever I hate it)
Other people who do the exact same thing: life goes on, meanwhile enjoy it before it ends
I: gets thrown at a ton of criticisms, judged really badly.
Yes I know I won't get to do it in the future again, so let me do it now before I can't, again.
You say I'm a lying piece of shit. Well, yes I am. I really am. But the world revolves around hypocrisy and lies. Some people lie their way through their lives.
But I know this doesn't negate my wrongdoings(really? The lines are all blurred) and excuses. And whatever I say isn't a good-enough justification for whatever I have done/have been doing/did/am doing.
Because no one is ever happy.
And I am never good enough.
You can judge however you like.
Because it is our inherent nature to judge.
Because,
This is a more-than-appropriate song for a time like this.
If history could set you free, from who you were supposed to be?

I just realized how disadvantaged/privileged you can be, depending on where you were born, what your citizenship is, what your race is, where you grew up in, etc etc.
One day, I'm gonna leave this fucking place.
It's my problem it's my problem if I never am happy.
It's my problem if I wanna pack up and run away.
it's my problem it's my problem if I feel the need to hide.
(I still love MATD. Where is her family jewels album?)

Tomorrow is my SEA history paper, which is also my last for promos.
And I just showered. (Yes, 1 o'clock in the morning)
I know I should be studying but I am still not really sure of the content. ~__~ Which explains why I'm on the computer now and trying to study.
My energy and productivity levels magically peak in the middle of the night. #nocturnal
On a side note, it is insanely humid and it seems like it was a bad choice to shower; I feel warmer than before (albeit less sticky and gross).
In any case, this is a reminder (to myself) that after tomorrow everything is over. Although I had so many days to prepare and study, I think I wasted a lot of time because of low productivity and my results would probably still suck.
I hope the weather takes a turn for the better and RAIN. PLEASE. Top it up with some strong winds and low temperatures.
(I'm starting to perspire after taking a shower what is this)
Well, tomorrow is where everything ends, but it's also where everything begins.
New beginnings to fulfill wishes and goals that have never been accomplished in past holidays.
After promos/this upcoming holidays:
This list is non-exhaustive; I shall add more as I deem fit.
Cheers to my new beginnings.
Cheers to our new beginnings.

okay technically they aren't but the last paper is next week and I have a 5-day break before the last test(SEA history) and the all boys camp (ahaha wtf)
hmm. Should I blog about how all the tests are?
First day: IH. was really scared but I tried my best! I mean I just read through the notes before the test and during the test itself I attempted to offer an argument and a counterargument that I could rebut (I really tried!) Hope Mr Mezz finds it okay. At least don't fail me Mr Mezz. :/
First question was about Marshall Plan, second was about Gorbachev's policies (end of Cold War) and the third was about the liberal international economic order (global economy). I don't know any shit about global economy so I kinda fluffed my way through. u__u (in retrospect, I think I kinda fluffed my way through the second question as well)
Went to eat Billy Bombers with Miaoye after the paper. She ordered some chicken chop(which looked and tasted so much better than what I ordered.) I ordered some fish pasta thing (it was just two pieces of fried fish and pasta -.-). I was shaking all the cheese out from the container to add to my pasta, the lid was loose and everything flew out. Yes, there was this heap/pile/mountain of cheese on my pasta and Miaoye and I stared at each other in shock. I embarrassingly scooped some of the cheese back into the container (urgh gross) and had to continue eating the cheese-infested pasta (as if it wasn't cheesy and creamy enough). I couldn't finish it because it was too much. I felt bloated.
This day sucked for Bio people cos they had a paper in the afternoon and they ended at 5pm. Oh god super horrible.
Second day: Econs! Being a serious case of procrastination, I probably started only studying at 10pm in the night (because I think I fell asleep due to my bloated stomach + I studied till late the previous night) it wasn't really productive and I didn't really study much.
Started memorizing the five tables and arguments for and against protectionism in the morning. Yep I am so smart. looked through all the answer keys and stuff, so I didn't touch market structures at all. was studying in the canteen in the morning when Ms Zeng+Keith Prince came and screamed at us to go for morning assembly since we were already there. =__= wtf waste our time I mean seriously we aren't required to go for it. Worst thing is I ended up being the only person in my class queue. hahaha what bullshit. -___________________-
Case study was okay.... but I have an ominous feeling about it, because everytime I feel okay for econs, it turns out bad. I didn't finish the paper. but I probably felt okay didn't really feel bad.
Essay was... better than I expected I guess. I did the international trade question really slowly, so I only had the remaining 15 minutes for the other question(talk about time management), which I chose the (a) central economic problem and optimal choice question (b) something about market failure. Ahahha it was really screwed since I didn't have enough time I just wrote some stuff about scarcity, allocative and productive efficiency briefly before moving onto the part b, and wrote some crap about market failure. I was drawing the graph for market failure when they said to stop writing. ~__~ oh well.
Next was elit, which was about 2 hours after econs. it was just bad. Terrible.
I read the poems and I just wanted to die. I chose the question about love and not modernity because at first glance I decided I could not understand London(title of poem). Couldn't really understand what they were about. ended up using 1 hour (time management skills very good) to decipher what the poems were talking about and I wrote a whole lot of bullcrap. Passage-based question wasn't done that well either; I felt like I was merely stating the obvious. The whole paper was so poorly done, I was like oh please end this torture now. Even when I was writing halfway I was secretly praying for the paper to end early so that the teacher has less shit to mark. ("is it time? oh 15 more minutes" /continues writing bullcrap/)
One day break before math, which was today!
hahaha oh puh-lease I can never be well-prepared for a test even if there's a day break before it. It was such a long paper (3 hours) and I just felt so drained and exhausted halfway through. I was yawning and tearing. I just sort of gave up halfway cos I knew I could pass but I won't pass with flying colours. gah I just can't do integration and probability. -__- Didn't finish the paper as well. left around 2 blanks? they were integration questions. Argh I need to buck up on my probability and integration.
went home really early I reached home at 12pm and I heard church bells! C: ate lunch, watched some episodes of flip side and I slept till 7.45pm. (woah a long nap there)
Today is Mid-Autumn Festival too but my family didn't drink tea or eat mooncakes. -_- The moon didn't even appear much because the clouds were covering it. gah.
The long nap... isn't really effective. I'm feeling super sleepy now. and hungry! it doesn't help that I'm watching cooking videos argh.
It looks SO GOOD I WANNA EAT.
I hope I do decently well for SEA history.

gah I'm still spending time on the internet
shite.
Hwa Chong is celebrating MAF (Mid-Autumn Festival) tonight and RV is busy preparing for exams. oh what a contrast. (I actually made a typo while typing contrast and ended up with contrassat it sounds like a cool word)
well anyway,
here's more interesting stuff I dug out from the lovely database of inter-connected virtual sphere.
NY Times Nokia Lumia 1020 (oh god I really want this phone)
100 apps availability
President Obama being really smart
The God Debate (actually I don't really get it I don't see a conclusion to it but oh well :/ it was interesting)
Midway: A Documentary Gah this is like another "The Cove". It makes me hate our world and humanity so much I just sit down in one corner and do nothing to help. ~__~ and then after watching and going back to our daily lives, we conveniently forget that such stuff are happening around us. *Poof* Out of sight, out of mind.
But seriously I do wanna watch the documentary though.
Okay this is kinda irrelevant and doesn't really contribute to our world viewpoint and global perspective /becomes a GP teacher/, but here goes--better alternatives to Justin's shit. Yes it is. (okay no, I am just biased. but whatever really)
yeah I better go study (which I'm never gonna do argh hate myself so much)
shite.

oh god I haven't been doing any shit.
someone, please swing me out of the window like a frisbee.
Every time the holiday comes, I go on an extremely long date with the internet. Every single time.
And now... I shall end the date and FOCUS ON MY STUDIES.
my promos are next week and I'm not studying. but I don't want to be retained. fuck. ;__;
anyway that's not the point of this post.
I've ignited my love for Lana Del Rey.
She's too pretty u__u
She came to Singapore for the opening of a Mulberry store last year in Oct. Some very lucky fans met her at her hotel and it wasn't a fanmeet or anything it WAS JUST THEM AND THEY HAD FACE-TO-FACE TALK. Obviously those fans took the opportunity to video her down. She sounded really genuine and I melted when she gave a shoutout to some local fans who weren't there. I melted.
Gah I feel like buying her album. I need to compile a list of albums to buy and undertake retail therapy after the trauma of promos.
and I really love her cover of Blue Velvet.
and while wasting my time (when I should be studying) and searching for demos of her song (Queen of Disaster sounds interesting too), I suddenly started watching Marina and the Diamonds interviews and realized how bubbly and funny she is during interviews. (you can tell how much time I wasted)
oh yeah after promos I need to start watching movies too.
Movies to watch(Note to self): Polisse, Amelie.
and here are some articles to read (oh because I oh so love celeb gossip)

Hi I'm writing on my mum's iPhone
Just came back from hanging out with the 4H gang hurhur.
GP was tough! Okay in actual fact, I felt that it was okay it wasn't like crazy hard and impossible to do. I chose this question '"technology only serves to benefit humanity. " HFDYA with this statement?' for the essay component. I hope I answered the question. It seems like I read an essay that had sort of similar content and I simply tried to plonked down everything I remember about that essay. But I didn't really study it hard enough so I couldn't imitate the style (which was what I did for the common test; I literally memorized the essay and tried to replicate it).
The reason I couldn't study the essay was because of my uncooperative whiny pugnacious gastrointestinal tract. Halfway on the car ride to school, my stomach started to scream in protest and bestowed me with waves of discomfort. Great job. I really needed to go. Like, go.
So basically I was thrown into the depths of hell during that car ride. I started whining, inhaling deeply, and stomping my feet. (sounds like an attack of a disease) the wise words of my wonderful mother: 'it's okay, when you reach school, I'm sure they will another set of uniform for you to change into. ' great, mum, thanks a lot for that wonderful reassurance.
So when I finally reached school and my mum dropped me off outside the science lab blocks, I just grabbed the tissue box(I didn't think I would have the time and luxury to slowly pull out the tissues which were outside the cubicle >__>) in the car without taking my bag and ran to the nearest toilet. (I even said hi to Peiquan haha) got into a cubicle, and...
Explosive relief.
I think I made some farting noises and stank up the whole toilet. I'm really sorry for inconveniencing the other toilet users. u____u
Okay so I left after the bomb, and went back to take my bag and return the box of tissues. If this happened to me on the first day of promos, what next?
Yeah so I just went to join the others at the usual place while feeling kind of crappy at the same time. And I didn't really study or look through the notes. Brought all the notes for nothing. ~__~
Yep and I went into the exam hall and it didn't help at all that the weather was cold. And the fans were blowing at us. AND I was sitting at the edge, so the fans were blowing right at me.
I didn't finish the conclusion for my essay. And the compre was so difficult I had to read it twice slowly. So in the end I had to rush through my summary and and I didn't even managed to finish my AQ. So I ended up not finishing both papers =__=
After the papers was econs remedial. Lost track of time and I even thought it started one hour later than it was supposed to be. (Jaclyn had to call me hahaha) and Mr Ang had to postpone math remedial to tomorrow probably after teachers day celebration(which reminds me, I didn't prepare anything for any teachers at all oops). NOOOO argh I'd rather have it today why why WHY
After econs I went to find the gang and followed them around as they shopped for their teachers day presents. Nothing much really except that I found a book that was really cheap in popular, only $4.90! All the other books were like $10++.
On a side note, I joined Jaclyn in humanities hub for history tuition. Okay I know it's kinda late for save myself from this abyss of failures but at least I'm trying. But I hate getting up so early on a Saturday morning! Tuition starts at 9am and IT'S AT PARK MALL. IT'S IN FREAKING TOWN WHAT THE HELL I HAVE TO TRAVEL ALL THE WAY.
Okay I just hope that I can save my ass during the next week which is the holidays. and I still have WR to worry about. Sorry about this crappy post.
