HEROES

Anyway I suddenly remembered what I wanted to write about in the previous post.

I was in West Coast Plaza with my brother and my Malaysian cousin. We were buying potato chips since she was staying over and we planned to watch Heroes.

So we were looking at the shelf of potato chips deciding which one to buy. and Cold Storage was playing Christmas songs and I was singing along to annoy my brother. haha.

And there was this angmoh couple who walked into the section we were in. And then the guy exclaimed, something along the lines of "god why are they playing Christmas songs when its not even Thankgiving!" and then he continued, "the songs are giving me a freaking headache" which I thought was funny. Its not the exact lines but the gist is there. hahaha!

okay I kind of forgot what I wanted to write.

Let's move on random shit (as if my blog isn't)

I want to shop at Muji and Lowry's Farm. Their stuff is so pretty and exciting but its so darn expensive. I simply can't pay for those stuff when I know its obviously not worth that much. D:
Help, I need to satisfy my material desires (despite the fact that I have no money.)

Heroes Season 2 is such a disappointment. Well, at least when you compare it to season 1. I just totally 看不爽. I feel really frustrated, like I didn't watch enough. Which is why I am sort of pushing Huixin to lend me season 3.

There seems to be no character development at all in season 2. The storyline is extended from season 1, which explains why they had to reuse most of the characters in season 1. The characters don't seem to grow; they don't change much. It was really weak.

And this is sort of related to the plot. Firstly the plot is fine (not really), but the problem is resolved so damn easily? wtf what's the point of watching? I kept on thinking there was more going on and no, bam, yes it ends right there. And most of the time, the old characters are preoccupied with love. I don't know, its just an observation I made. They're like making out every episode. Peter falls in love with Caitlyn and spends half the time kissing her (well not really). Claire spends her time trying to avoid her father's interrogation/suspicions while having trysts with West. ~__~ Okay I'm just exaggerating.

I felt the plot just got kind of draggy. Maya and Alejandro wasted a lot of time trying to smuggle into US, in addition to what I've mentioned above.

And I got the feeling that they didn't have enough focus on either new characters or the old ones. Its like half-half. and consequently it had adverse effects on character development.

The episodes in season 1 left me wanting more. I just wanted to continue watching even though it was 2 am. Every episode had something refreshing and it was nerve-wrecking.

Maybe because it was just 11 episodes. and they didn't have enough time to play around, in comparison to 23 episodes in season 1. D:

I hope season 3 is more exciting.

Now I just want to buy all the DVDs. AHH.

The weather is now quite exciting. Its almost always raining and the dark clouds are kind of reassuring. At least the weather now is not that hot and more merciful. <: nbsp="" p="">
oh yes. There's this pimple growing on my Cupid's bow (aka philtrum biologically), the crease above the mouth below the nose, and it made my upper lip swell for god knows what reason. and it hurts, buddy. but thankfully it has stopped swelling and hurting and grown a little smaller today. Yesterday it was so much worse and I thought it was quite obvious, but people said otherwise. hmph.
