tic toc toe

As i am writing this, I'm now sitting in my fathers car on my way to white sands. The overcast sky threatened with a torrent of rain.
My mother is going slightly insane/high due to her nerves I suppose. But who am i to judge? I would be lying if i said I'm not nervous. (After several counselling sessions from my bro, I'm safe to say tthat I've calmed down quite a bit... But still .__.)
Never would i have thought that this day would come so goddamn quickly. I still remember starting my first day of work at SAM and now I've already collected my pay and (still mentally) preparing for enlistment. I'm now getting all jittery over my (potential) social life? Would i even make friends...? (Not that it would matter, because i have no friends anyway) (also i hope they don't kill me physically because I've not been training >__>)
I'm worried since I'm not the type to approach people but would usually wait for people to say hi. After years of selfintrospection and days of my stint in service as a retail assistant, I have observed that quite obviously about myself, always trying to act busy but not taking the initiative to talk. I'm shy in front of strangers. But not really. I'm both at the same time.
Again, time passes so quickly and everything has gone by unnoticed. We swim and glide through time like playing a game of tic tac toe; swiftly, but inevitably.
A few nights ago, i had a dream where i tried to play the piano but i kept making the same errors at the exact same spot everytime. What was more disappointing was that it was a song that I've played for years and memorised.
But one or two days ago, i decided to shower the piano with my love one last time before enlistment and discovered, reassuringly, that I've not lost that ability to play that song at all.
